The bulk load program runs on the computer system where Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server is installed, and loads Identity Markup Language (IDML) XML files called books from the Discovery Library File Store into the Tivoli Common Object Repository database. It is useful for loading large numbers of managed elements and relationship data into the Tivoli Common Object Repository database. You can use operating system utilities such as cron on Linux or AIX® to periodically run the bulk load program to load new files as they appear in the shared directory, or you can run the bulk load program manually as new files become available.
