The following list describes the fields:

Space allocation parameters
Select the files for which you want to specify the space allocation parameters: CKRCMD, REPORT, or SYSPRINT files. You can specify the CKRCMD and REPORT-specific output values in subsequent panels.
Print options
The Print options fields can be used to specify the (TSO PRINTDS command) options for printed output.
Destination
Specify the destination to which the output is routed for final processing. The destination is in the form: destination.userid or destination, where the destination and the userid are 1 - 8 characters. For further information about the TSO PRINTDS command (DEST operand), see the TSO/E Command Reference.
Sysout class
Specify the JES output class to be used for the output processing of this data set. Default is output class A. For further information about the TSO PRINTDS command (CLASS operand), see the TSO/E Command Reference.
Writer id
Specify a name for use in processing or selecting a SYSOUT data set. For further information about the TSO PRINTDS command (WRITER operand), see the TSO/E Command Reference.
Copies
Specify the number of original copies to be printed for the data set. The value for copies can be within the range from 1 to 255. For further information about the TSO PRINTDS command (COPIES operand), see the TSO/E Command Reference.
Character set
Specify the names of the character arrangement table. For further information about the TSO PRINTDS command (CHARS operand), see the TSO/E Command Reference.
FCB
Specify the forms control buffer or image used. For further information about the TSO PRINTDS command (FCB operand), see the TSO/E Command Reference.
Forms
Specify that the output data set is to be printed on a special output form. This value must be from 1 to 4 alphanumeric or national characters. For further information about the TSO PRINTDS command (FORMS operand), see the TSO/E Command Reference.
Output descriptor
Specify a list of output descriptors for the SYSOUT data set. For further information about the TSO PRINTDS command (OUTDES operand), see the TSO/E Command Reference.
Forms overlay
Specify the name of the forms overlay to be used. For further information about the TSO PRINTDS command (FLASH operand), see the TSO/E Command Reference.
Data encoding option
Most readable text from zSecure input data is encoded in EBCDIC, with some field values encoded in UTF-8. To see the correct characters when saving or emailing zSecure reports, or when viewing the UTF-8 field values on your 3270 terminal, the User CCSID must be set. This field specifies the CCSID of the EBCDIC code page that is used in the input data. This value is usually equal to the value that is specified in SMTP CCSID, but might be set with a different value. Ask your system programmer for the correct settings for these options.

Note that, when specifying a value that is not 01047 (OpenEdition/POSIX code page IBM-1047), some program-generated text might not be read. For example, if you change the default encoding, the output of the RECORDDESC field in NEWLIST TYPE=SMF might not be readable.

See also the MY_CCSID keyword on the OPTION statement in the zSecure CARLa Command Language.

SMTP options
Ask your system programmer for the correct settings for these options.
SMTP node
Specify the NJE destination to which email is routed for final processing. If the SMTP server is running on your local system, this value can be set to blanks.

The initial value can be set by a systems programmer using SE.D, or found in the SMTPNODE value in the REXX SMTPNOTE. When the REXX SMTPNOTE is not found or not configured, the SMTP node value is left blank.

SMTP sysout
Specify the JES output class that is to be used for the SMTP output processing. This value is required.

The initial value for sysout class is set to B, unless it is overridden by a systems programmer using SE.D.

SMTP writer
Specify a name for use in SMTP when selecting an email SYSOUT data set. The external writer name is equal to the SMTP address space name. This value is required.

The initial value can be set by a systems programmer using SE.D, or found in the SMTPJOB value in the REXX SMTPNOTE. When the REXX SMTPNOTE is not found or not configured, the initial SMTP writer value is set to SMTP.

SMTP atsign
Specify the character that is used for @ in email addresses. The character must show as @ in the code page that is specified in the User CCSID field on the same panel. If your 3270 terminal is configured with the same code page as the User CCSID, the SMTP atsign character shows as an @. A systems programmer can set the initial value by using zSecure menu option SE.D (Set system defaults).

The initial value can be set by a systems programmer using SE.D, or found in the ATSIGN value in the REXX SMTPNOTE. When the REXX SMTPNOTE is not found, found not configured, or is missing the ATSIGN value, the initial atsign value will be set to @ in code page 1047.

When both your terminal emulator and the SMTP server have been setup for your language, this value should be shown as @.

SMTP server CCSID
Specify the CCSID of the code page that the SMTP server uses to convert from EBCDIC to ASCII. For CSSMTP, this is configured with the TRANSLATE= statement. This value is usually equal to the value that is specified in User CCSID, but can be set with a different value. A systems programmer can set the initial value by using zSecure menu option SE.D (Set system defaults).

When you press Enter, the system displays the Setup allocation parameters panels for CKRCMD, REPORT, and SYSPRINT, in that order. Apart from the first line and the possible values for the Logical record length field, these panels look very similar. You can specify the CKRCMD and REPORT-specific output values in subsequent panels.

CKRCMD

If you selected CKRCMD in Figure 1, the Setup allocation parameters panel for CKRCMD is displayed.

Specify the values that are to be used for file allocation. To see the help information, press PF1.

Because of the CKRCMD file's possibly sensitive contents, in the Data class field, specify a class that is setup to use encryption. Contact your Storage Administrator for information about such a data class.

The following values are valid for the Record format field (RECFM):
FB
Fixed-length, blocked
FBA
Fixed-length, blocked, file contains ASA control characters
VB
Variable-length, blocked
VBA
Variable-length, blocked, file contains ASA control characters
The following values are valid for the Logical record length field (LRECL):
  • For CKRCMD files: 80 to 32760
  • For REPORT and SYSPRINT files: 137-32760
When you have specified all the intended values, press Enter to go to the next panel:

 Number of files for remote nodes . . . . __

For CKRCMD space allocation parameters, you can select the following options:
Delete CKRCMD on exit (might include readable passwords)
Only select this option when Erase-on-scratch is active, because of the CKRCMD file's possibly sensitive contents. Otherwise, a disk scavenger program can find the readable passwords in the tracks of the deleted data set.
Number of files for remote nodes
Specify the maximum number of CKRCMD files that zSecure will try to allocate if zsecnode=* or zsecsys=* is specified.

This field is required for remote command execution. Command execution files are used for forwarding commands to remote nodes. One command file is needed for each security database (COMPLEX) that is derived from the available set of remote systems. The default value for this field is 10. You can specify any value in the range of 1 to 39. The amount of CKRCMD files that can be allocated is reduced by the number of other complexes that are selected in SE.1 (SETUP - Input files).

Ask your system programmer for the correct setting.

REPORT

If you selected REPORT in Figure 1, the Setup allocation parameters panel for REPORT is displayed when you press Enter. To see the help information, press PF1. To see the descriptions for fields Record format and Logical record length, see Figure 2.
When you have entered all the intended values, press Enter to go to the next panel:

Pagelength _____ Linelength _____ _ Convert to uppercase

For REPORT space allocation parameters, you can select the following options:
Pagelength
Use this to select a page length for use in printable reports. A page length of 0 suppresses all but the first occurrence of the page header and all column headers. The maximum allowed value is 32760.
Linelength
Sets the useful line length of the output data sets for later runs. The DCB LRECL value for the data set is set to the line length plus four (4). The LRECL for the current run is not affected. Note that information about the output can be lost if the value is too small. The value must be at least 133.
Convert to uppercase
Use this option to specify that all output must be presented in uppercase instead of mixed case.

SYSPRINT

If you selected SYSPRINT in Figure 1, the Setup allocation parameters panel for SYSPRINT is displayed when you press Enter. To see the help information, press PF1. To see the descriptions for fields Record format and Logical record length, see Figure 2.

When you press Enter, the system returns to Figure 1. Press Enter again to return to the main Setup Menu (Figure 1).
