Setting security restrictions
Admins control email domains that are allowed to access Blueworks Live. Admins can also limit the locations Blueworks Live can be accessed from.
You can set the restrictions in tab of the Admin page:
- Set the email domain names that are allowed to be invited to or use Blueworks Live, or enable Unlimited email domains
allowed to allow access from any email domain.
If the Unlimited email domains allowed setting is enabled, users from any email domain can access the account. Users from the email domains that you list on the Single sign-on tab (if applicable) and the IBMid tab (if enabled) will authenticate through SSO and IBMid respectively by default, if those methods are enabled. Users with other email domains will authenticate through Blueworks Live authentication by default.
If the Unlimited email domains allowed setting is not enabled, only users in the domains listed under the check box, users with domains listed on the Single sign-on tab (if applicable), and users with domains listed on the IBMid tab (if enabled) can access the account.
- Enable Restricted access to select the IP address range or ranges that can access your Blueworks Live account. For example, your company might want to limit access to users that are accessing Blueworks Live from the company's corporate offices. If this option is disabled, any IP address is allowed into Blueworks Live.
