Disk drives or solid-state drives for the 8408-44E or 8408-E8E

Learn how to install, remove, and replace disk drives or solid-state drives (SSDs) in the IBM® Power® System E850 (8408-44E and 8408-E8E) systems.

If you are installing, removing, or replacing mainstream SSDs, it is not supported to mix mainstream drives with enterprise drives in disk arrays.
