Accessing the service interface

Learn how to access the service interface.

To access the service interface for an IBM® Power® System server, go to Repairing a part by using the HMC.

To access the service interface for an IBM DCS3700 Expansion Unit or an IBM EXP24S SFF Gen2-bay Drawer (5887 disk drive enclosure), complete the following steps:
  1. Log in to the platform and storage management console. For instructions, see Starting the system console.
  2. Click Monitoring > Events to display events.
  3. Perform any displayed actions, starting with the Next recommended action.
