PCI_IOV
The single root I/O virtualization (SR-IOV) adapter might be failing.
To determine the location of the SR-IOV adapter, complete the following steps:
- Is a location code available in the serviceable event view for
this failing item?
- Yes:
- Go to step 3.
- No:
- Continue to the next step.
- To determine the location of the failing item, complete the following
steps:
- Record the Dynamic Reconfiguration Connector (DRC) index, which is word 4 of the reference code.
- The DRC index is of the form xxxxyyyy, where yyyy is the hexadecimal bus number. Go to Card Positions and use the hexadecimal bus number to find the location of the failing item. Then continue with the next step.
- Is the system managed by a management console?
- Yes:
- Use the management console to replace the failing item at the location identified in this procedure.
- No:
- Use the following table to identify the description, part number, and location of the failing item to be replaced. Replace the failing item by using the replacement procedures found in the location information.
