PC processor and memory requirements

Depending on your operating system, the processor and memory requirements for your console PC can vary.

Use the following table to ensure that your PC is ready for Operations Console. For updated PC requirements, see the IBM® iAssess website.

(Local console on a network (LAN) configuration only)
  • Pentium 800 MHz
  • 512 MB memory minimum
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
  • Pentium 500 MHz (P6 or equivalent compatible microprocessor)
  • 256 MB memory minimum
Microsoft Windows 7 No specific requirements
