Upgrades road map

You can use this road map as a guide to upgrade from an IBM® POWER6® Power Systems™ model or hardware feature to a POWER7® Power Systems server. This road map can also be used for adding features.

The steps in this road map link to a series of chronological tasks for upgrading or migrating your server. At the completion of each step, return to this road map to determine the next appropriate step.
