Starting the system console

Learn how to log into the IBM® PureData™ System for Operational Analytics console and how to use its functions and features.

To log in to the IBM PureData System for Operational Analytics console, complete the following steps:

1. Enter the following URL in your web browser: http://management_node_host_name:5000/
2. Type the user ID and password that are authorized by system administrator.
   Note: The admin user is used as the initial system administrative user. The initial password is set to admin until the password is changed.
3. Click Login.

If the console interface is accessed through the remote web browser, use the remote network address provided by the system administrator to initiate the console session.
