You might need to replace a malfunctioning switch. Use this procedure to view the serviceable alerts that are related to the malfunctioning switch.
Automatic call home notifications are generated when there is a problem with the servers or storage subsytems. The notifications are reported to IBM® support for service if you authorized the call home capability. Switch events are not enabled for the call home function and must be manually interrogated by using the event reporting window on the system console.
