Accessing the solution component service interface

Learn how to access the solution component service.

The service access to all the product maintenance packages for the IBM® PureData™ System for Operational Analytics must be done through the system console instead going directly to the service interface on the products.

To access the solution component service interface, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the system console.
  2. From the menu, click System > Service Level Access.

    This interface provides a panel with direct access to the various device-specific managers for the Hardware Management Console (HMC), storage, network, and storage area network (SAN) switches.

  3. Select the appropriate service interface to open the interface to the maintenance packages on the targeted product.
  4. Expand each solution component service to view the different systems associated with each solution component.
  5. Click HTTP/HTTPS to view the HTTP/HTTPS interface for the selected solution component.

    Follow the normal path for logging in to and accessing the maintenance package, based on the specific interface chosen.
