Overview
The PCIe4 4-port NVMe JBOF adapter is a PCI Express (PCIe) generation 4 (Gen4) x16, short
form-factor adapter.
- The FC EJ1X is a short, low-profile adapter.
- The FC EJ1Y is a short, full height adapter.
The FC EJ1X adapter has four ports, but only two ports are used for the attachment of drive cables to one of the NVMe drive backplanes in the system. The FC EJ1Y adapter has four ports, and all four ports are used for the attachment of drive cables to one of the NVMe drive backplanes in the system. The system can support a maximum of two PCIe4 four-port NVMe JBOF adapters and two NVMe drive backplanes.
