You can create a master data configuration job directly in IBM Master Data Management.

To create a master data configuration job in IBM Master Data Management:

  1. From the Cloud Pak for Data navigation menu, choose Data > Master data to open the IBM Master Data Management service.

  2. Complete one of the following master data configuration tasks to create a job:

    • Publish data assets. Publishing data creates the following job types: data-load-vertices and data-load-edges.
    • Run matching. The matching process creates the following job types: match-bulkderiver, match-bulkmatcher, data-sync-entities, and match-bulkreporter.
    • Generate a pair review. Generating pairs creates the match-bulkpairscorer job type.
    • Customize and tune your matching algorithm. Changing matching thresholds creates the weight-tuning job type.
    • Delete data. Deleting data creates the data-bulk-delete job type.
    • Export data. Exporting data creates the export job type.
