To access your data in OpenSearch, create a connection asset for it.

OpenSearch is an open-source, search and observability suite that brings order to unstructured data at scale.

Create a connection to OpenSearch

To create the connection asset, you need these connection details:

  • URL: The URL to access OpenSearch.

Credentials

Choose an authenticatoon method:

API key

  • API key: The API key used for authentication.
  • Use anonymous access: This is optional. Connect to the data source without providing login credentials.

Username and password

  • User name and Password
  • Use anonymous access: This is optional. Connect to the data source without providing login credentials.

Certificates

  • SSL certificate: Enter the SSL certificate of the host to be trusted

For Private connectivity, to connect to a database that is not externalized to the internet (for example, behind a firewall), you must set up a secure connection.
