OpenSearch IBM Cloud connection
To access your data in OpenSearch IBM Cloud, create a connection asset for it.
OpenSearch IBM Cloud is an open-source, search and observability suite that brings order to unstructured data at scale and leverages IBM Cloud services.

Create a connection to OpenSearch IBM Cloud
To create the connection asset, you need these connection details:
- URL: The URL to access OpenSearch.
Credentials
- Username and Password
- Use anonymous access: This is optional. Connect to the data source without providing login credentials.
Certificates
- SSL certificate: Enter the SSL certificate of the host to be trusted
For Private connectivity, to connect to a database that is not externalized to the internet (for example, behind a firewall), you must set up a secure connection.
