Predefined categories
The predefined categories contain predefined governance artifacts. These categories have restrictions compared to the categories that you create.
- The [uncategorized] category
- The Locations category
- The Knowledge Accelerator Sample Personal Data category
The [uncategorized] category
The [uncategorized] category is created automatically and contains these predefined governance artifacts:
The [uncategorized] category differs from other categories in these ways:
- It can't be renamed or deleted.
- It can't have subcategories.
- It can be only a primary category for governance artifacts. It can't be assigned as secondary category for governance artifacts.
- Its governance artifacts are always visible to all users.
By default, the [uncategorized] category has no collaborators. When creating a new account, the account owner or Governance Artifacts Administrator needs to set at least one Owner to the [uncategorized] category. The Owner can change the default category collaborators and their roles. The Public access group has a Viewer role by default.
The Locations category
The Locations category is created automatically and contains the Predefined reference data sets.
The Locations category differs from other categories in these ways:
- It can be only a primary category for governance artifacts. It can't be assigned as secondary category for governance artifacts.
- Its governance artifacts are always visible to all users.
By default, the Locations category has no collaborators. When creating a new account, the account owner or Governance Artifacts Administrator needs to set at least one Owner to the [Locations] category. The Owner can change the default category collaborators and their roles. The Public access group has a Viewer role by default.
The Knowledge Accelerator Sample Personal Data category
The Knowledge Accelerator Sample Personal Data category contains 100 predefined business terms related to personal data.
If you created your service after 7 October 2022, predefined business terms and the Knowledge Accelerator Sample Personal Data category that includes them are available in Lite or Standard plans.
