Replacing a processor voltage regulator module in the 9105-22A, 9105-22B, or 9786-22H
To replace a processor voltage regulator module, complete
the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge
(ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged into a ground jack or connected to an
unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
Replace the processor voltage regulator module.
With the levers in the open position, hold the processor voltage regulator module by its levers
and lower the processor voltage regulator module into its slot in the system.
Gently push the processor voltage regulator module into its connector.
Rotate the levers inwards and press down on
the latches to secure the processor voltage regulator module in its slot.
