Removing the current server firmware level by using an HMC

Learn how to use an Hardware Management Console (HMC) to remove the current level of server firmware.

1. Ensure that the managed system Status is Power Off, Standby, or Operating.
2. In the Navigation area, click Updates.
3. In the contents area, select your managed system.
4. Click Change Licensed Internal Code for the current release.
5. Select Select advanced features and click OK.
6. In the Advanced Features window, select Reject Fix - Copy Permanent to Temporary and click OK.
