ATTENTION:

SnapManager 7.0 for Microsoft SQL Server includes several new features and enhancements from previous release:
- The option to restore database to a different location on the same Microsoft SQL Server instance.
- Performance improvements when restoring database from a LUN that contains multiple databases.
- The Backup report now includes the cmdlet syntax for database backups initiated from the Backup wizard or Backup and Verify option
- Support for running SnapManager from a group Managed Service Account.

Refer to the important information for N series support for step-by-step instructions explaining how to access software packages as part of the complete instructions for entitlement and registration. When following the step-by-step instructions, select the SnapManager for Microsoft SQL Server software package from the N series and related Host Software Downloads - Pick page. Download the files for the version of SnapManager and hardware platform required and install them using the installation instructions found in the Installation & Administration Guide.
