Editing Options for Terms

The following table lists the editing options that are available for terms in the Contract Editor and Word Editor.

Insert term Insert a term. Language tab > Select a clause > Right-click the clause and select Insert Term.
Edit term Edit the value of a term. Language tab > Select a clause > Right-click the clause and select Edit Term Select a clause > Right-click the clause and select Edit Term
Delete term Delete a term. Language tab > Select a clause > Right-click the clause and select Delete Term Select a clause > Right-click the clause and select Delete Term.
Mark term Map text to existing term definitions to create terms.

Language tab > Select a clause > Right-click the clause and select Mark Term Content pane > Term Checklist tab > Right-click to select from the menu
Convert term to text (Unmap term) Convert a term to text. Language tab > Select a clause > Right-click the clause and select Unmap Term Select a clause > Right-click to select from the menu
Copy terms from the Terms tab Copy terms or their properties. Terms tab >
Clear terms from amended contracts Clear the value of user-defined language terms.

Language tab > Manage Clause > Clear Terms in Impacted Clauses
