Setting the maximum number of threads

Set the maximum number of threads for the Registry Services application in the Thread pools window.

1. Open the IBM® WebSphere® Application Server administrative console.
2. Select Server > Server Types > WebSphere application servers.
3. Select the name of the server for which you want to configure the thread pools.
4. Select Thread pools in the Additional Properties cell.
5. Select the thread pools that you want to edit. For the Registry Services application, set the range of thread pools for Default and WebContainer.
6. Select Default.
7. Set the Minimum Size and Maximum Size fields with the minimum and maximum number of threads you can create for this pool.
8. Click Apply and then click Save.
9. Select WebContainer.
10. Set the Minimum Size and Maximum Size fields with the minimum and maximum number of threads you can create this pool.
11. Click Apply and then click Save.
