Price Lists
Price lists can be transported from the source system to the target system as primary components or as dependent components.
Price lists are transported as dependent components if they are referenced by other components. For example, when you transport a line definition, all price lists that are associated with the default line instances are also transported.
Dependent components
When you are transporting a price list, the following dependent components are transported along with the price list:
- Currency
- Products
- Price Lists that are defined as replacements.
- Value lists for the various properties
Note: A price list is displayed for a product. However, a price list is not a dependent object for a
product.
Considerations
Consider the following points when you transport price lists:
- All the properties on the Price List Details tab are transported.
- All the products that are listed on the List of Prices tab are transported.
- For the products listed on the List of Prices tab, the Price Details are also transported.
- When a price list is updated on the target system, all product associations are replaced.
