Licensing
Lear about the licensing of IBM Cloud Paks.
An IBM Cloud Pak international license agreement includes Supporting Programs based on the core functions of each IBM Cloud Pak. The Programs are provided as part of a multi-product install image. Licensees must obtain sufficient entitlements to the Program to cover the Licensee's installation and use of all of the Supporting Programs, unless separate entitlements are provided within the License Information document. For example, if a Program is licensed on a VPC (Virtual Processor Core) basis and the Licensee installs the Principal Program or a Supporting Program on a 10 VPC machine and another Supporting Program on a second 10 VPC machine, the Licensee must obtain 20 VPC entitlements to the Program.
A license agreement for an evaluation of Programs has a period of 30 days, which starts from the date that a Licensee agrees to the terms of the agreement. Red Hat Marketplace provides operator catalogs for the IBM Cloud Paks that you can install on your Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform cluster. For more information about Red Hat Marketplace, see Red Hat Marketplace. Trial licenses for non-production use are available, which have an expiration period of 60 days.
