What documentation is available?

CICS® TS for z/OS® provides documentation in a number of formats. Some of this documentation is translated into languages other than English. This section provides links to all the documentation for all supported releases of CICS TS for z/OS.

Changes to documentation describes any significant changes to the documentation.

Conventions used in the documentation explains the tags, terminology, and format of syntax diagrams that we use.

What does "6.x" mean?

The 6.x documentation applies to all the releases in Version 6 of CICS TS: that is, CICS TS 6.1, CICS TS 6.2, and CICS TS 6.3. Information within a section that is unique to a release is identified with a tag, such as 6.1. If the whole section applies uniquely to one release, the title of the section identifies this.

Giving feedback on CICS documentation

We welcome your comments on the CICS product documentation, whether they are for minor changes or more significant enhancements. The documentation is refreshed regularly in response to feedback, so please let us know what you think.

The date of the documentation is found on a web page and in the preface of a PDF as "Last updated: yyyy/mm/dd". Find terms of use for the documentation in Product Legal Notices.
