Contract Editor

The Contract Editor is the place to view and edit the components of the contract that include parties, language, terms, lines, security, and approvals. It is a feature that provides access to the properties of a contract. The Contract Editor is displayed when you create a new contract or open an existing contract.

Tabs in the Contract Editor

The following table lists the Tabs in the Contract Editor.

Tabs Functions
Contract Header View and define the unique identifying information of the contract.
Contract Summary Overview of the fields that are selected for display for a particular contract.
Contract Parties View, assign, or change the internal and external parties of the contract.
Contract Language Manage the language view of the contract or a language attachment.
Contract Terms Manage the terms of the contract.
Contract Lines Manage lines, line definitions, and line clauses.
Contract Attachment View or change the contract’s external file attachments.
Contract Renewals Provide the renewal terms of the sales lines in the contract.
Contract Management View information about the contract from a management or administrative perspective and control the user access. Includes the Activity, Relationships, Approvals, Events, Folders, Status, and Security tabs.
