You can print or save both generated map and report content
through the context-sensitive Print button
on the taskbar. The menu options for the Print button differs depending on whether you are viewing the map or a
report.
Before you begin
Before you print or save URL-based reports, first follow the instructions to add a
customized report in the Adding URL-based reports topic. If you are a developer who is
creating custom reports, to print or save a custom report, develop the custom report code to
implement the exportable widget interface for the solution.Note: Check the browser that you are
using. The Print function is not supported in Internet Explorer.
About this task
Complete the following instructions to print or save map
or report content, or combined map and report content. The print action
generates a PDF file that contains a snapshot of map content, or existing
report content, or a combined snapshot of the map with report content.
Procedure
- In the Operations view, display either the report or the
map that you want to print.
- From the Print button on the taskbar,
choose one of the following options:
- To print a report, or a snapshot of the map with a report,
click Custom Print (PDF).
- To print a snapshot of the map only, click Print
the Map (PDF).
- Follow the instructions, enter your values and choose your
options, and generate the PDF file.
- Either print the generated PDF file, or save the generated
PDF file to a specific location.
