Deploying integrations
To run your Designer and Toolkit flows, choose the appropriate deployment process for your chosen payment plan.
About this task
To run flows that you create in App Connect Designer or IBM® App Connect Enterprise
Toolkit, you deploy them with the resources that they need. How you
deploy your flows depends on the price plan that you chose when you bought a subscription to App Connect
Enterprise as a Service.
- If you chose the VPC hours plan, you're charged for the amount of resources that are allocated to process your integrations. When you deploy your integrations, you create and configure an integration runtime that is the appropriate size for your workload.
- If you chose the flow runs plan, you're charged for the number of flow runs that are triggered. Therefore, you don't need to create or configure an integration runtime.

To deploy your flows, follow the appropriate instructions for your payment plan.
After deployment, you can view information about a deployed integration or runtime, test your
deployed integration, and start or stop your deployed runtimes and integrations.
