This topic describes how to connect to the
server and verify
firmware levels using the TS3000 System Console (TSSC).
Procedure
- Log in
to the TSSC with the user name service and
password service.
- Right-click
on the blue desktop, and from the drop-down
menu, select .
- When prompted for a user name and password, enter service in
both fields.
- From the icon menu, select Attached
Systems.
- Write down the 172.31.1.xx
IP address for the server that
is being recovered.
- Select to
exit.
- Right-click on the blue desktop, and
select the menu option .
- Enter the IMM IP
address
( 172.31.1.xx) (the server’s IP address on the TSSC +1, example: 172.31.1.10,
the IMM would be 172.31.1.11) into the URL address line.
- Enter your user name and password on the Login page
and select Login.
- If the
user name and password have been changed, obtain them from
the system administrator.
- Otherwise, type the initial values
for the IMM:

- Select the timeout value no timeout and
click Continue.
- Verify
the current firmware levels on the server:
- Select .
- In
the center panel, scroll to the section titled Firmware
VPD.
- Verify that the firmware
levels are all at the levels
specified in Table 1.
- If any firmware levels are incorrect, continue
to Updating the ProtecTIER server firmware for the TS7650 Appliance or TS7650G (Gateway), ProtecTIER V3.3.6.
