Supported tape cartridges: 3592-C07

This topic describes the tape drive characteristics and supported tape cartridges of the TS1120 and later tape drives when used with the 3592-C07 controller.

The 3592-C07 supports the IBM® 3592 tape cartridges including write-once, read-many (WORM) cartridges listed in Table 1. The type of tape cartridge that is supported is dependent on the model of tape drive.

Note: IBM 3590 tape cartridges cannot be used in TS1120 and later tape drives.
