Configuration files

Use the IBM® Spectrum Conductor configuration files and parameters to configure the system.

allowlist.conf reference
The allowlist.conf file enables you to control access to log files and directories in the cluster.
ascd.conf reference
Configuration file for the Application Service Controller daemon (ascd). If you alter the ascd.conf file, restart the ascd for the changes to take effect.
ascd_service.xml reference
The ascd_service.xml file is the service profile for the Application Service Controller daemon (ascd). The configuration file is used to start ascd. If you modify this file, restart EGO to make the changes take effect.
deployment.xml reference
The deployment.xml configuration file applies to service package deployment.
ego.cluster reference
The ego.cluster file is the cluster configuration file. There is one for each cluster, called ego.cluster.cluster_name. The cluster_name suffix is the name of the cluster that is defined in the Cluster section of ego.shared. All IBM Spectrum Conductor hosts are listed in this file, along with the list of IBM Spectrum Conductor administrators and the installed IBM Spectrum Conductor features.
ego.conf reference
The ego.conf file contains the configuration information for the cluster. The configuration file is also used to connect to a cluster from a client host that is not part of the cluster. After changing settings in the file, ensure that you restart EGO on all management hosts in the cluster for the changes to take effect.
ego.shared reference
The ego.shared file contains common definitions that are shared by clusters defined by ego.cluster.cluster_name files. This includes lists of cluster names, host types, host models, special resources available, and external load indices.
ego.sudoers reference
The ego.sudoers file is an optional file to configure security mechanisms. It is not installed by default.
egosc_conf.xml reference
The egosc_conf.xml file contains configuration information for the EGO service controller.
MDPlan.xml reference
The MDPlan.xml file is the configuration file for a multidimensional resource plan.
pmc.conf reference
The pmc.conf configuration file applies to the cluster management console web server and sets up additional functionality for the cluster management console.
pmc_conf_ego.xml reference
The pmc_conf_ego.xml configuration file applies to the cluster management console web server and sets up additional functionality for the cluster management console.
rs.xml reference
The rs.xml configuration file defines the EGO repository server (rs) service .
server_*.xml reference
The server_*.xml configuration file sets up the environment for the web servers in your cluster.
start-ascd reference
The start-ascd.sh command script is used to start and stop the Application Service Controller daemon (ascd).
wsg.conf reference
The wsg.conf file contains the configuration information for the web service gateway.
wsm.conf and wsm_rest.conf reference
The wsm configuration files set up the environment for the web servers in your cluster.
