Setting up the Fingerprint Maintenance Tool for your application

You need to copy the Fingerprint Maintenance Tool files to your application directory and configure the tool for use with your application.

Procedure

  1. Locate the following files from the said folders.
    • Fingerprint Maintenance Tool.exe: in \Datacap\APT\dco_APT folder.
    • DCFilter.dll: in \Datacap\APT\dco_APT folder.
    • Settings.ini: in \Datacap\APT\dco_APT folder.
    • Interop.DCAppleLib.dll: in \Datacap\RV2\bin folder or from \Datacap\tmweb.net\bin folder
    • Interop.TDCOLib.dll: \Datacap\tmweb.net\bin folder
  2. Copy the above files to C:\Datacap\< app_name>\dco_<app_name>, where < app_name> is the name of your application.
  3. Using a text editor, edit the settings.ini file and update the paths and database strings to match the application paths and database strings connections.
