The Autodesk Forge Viewer is a cloud-based WebGL application. To display BIM models in
the Forge Viewer in Maximo® for Civil Infrastructure, you
must create an account with Autodesk and obtain credentials for the Autodesk Forge
service.
Before you begin
In a browser window, open https://developer.autodesk.com/. Create an Autodesk account and
sign in. Create an app, and copy the Client ID and Client Secret that are provided for the app.
About this task
You must configure the credentials for the Autodesk Forge service in the following Maximo for Civil Infrastructure system properties:

Procedure

In the Property Name filter field, type bim and
press Enter. Verify that the bim.viewer.LMV.key and
bim.viewer.LMV.secret properties exist. If the properties exist, skip to step
6.
- In the Global Properties table, click New Row.
- In the Property Name, enter
bim.viewer.LMV.key and enter a description. In the Common
Actions menu, click Save Property.
- In the Property Name, enter
bim.viewer.LMV.secret and enter a description. In the Common
Actions menu, click Save Property.
- In the Property Name filter field, type bim
and press Enter.
- Expand the bim.viewer.LMV.key and enter a value in the
Global Value field.
- In the Common Actions menu, click Save
Property.
- Expand the bim.viewer.LMV.secret and enter a value in the
Global Value field.
- In the Common Actions menu, click Save
Property.
- In the Global Properties table, select the checkbox for both properties that you
configured.
- In the Common Actions menu, click Live
Refresh.
The values that you applied to the properties take effect immediately.
