Preparing Microsoft Excel workbooks

Maximo® for Civil Infrastructure provides sample Microsoft Excel workbook templates that you can use as a reference to structure your data into a suitable format for importing with the Maximo data loader.

When you install Maximo for Civil Infrastructure, the sample workbook files are installed in the install_home/tools/maximo/ directory.

You can also create worksheets by exporting query templates from another Maximo for Civil Infrastructure or Maximo Asset Management system. The export operation creates a template that you can use with the Maximo data loader to query a server and populate a worksheet with the data that is returned by the query.
