If you are on IBM® Cloud Pak System 2.3.3.3 or later, use this IBM Cloud Pak System user interface menu.
The Getting started page displays a tag with the logged-in system name next to Welcome to IBM Cloud Pak System.
IBM Cloud Pak System user interface menu options
- You can do the following tasks from the menu on the upper left of the page:
- Click Getting started to return to the Getting started page from any IBM Cloud Pak System user interface page.
- Click Provision accelerators to go to the Provision accelerators page and deploy IBM Cloud Paks or other enterprise software. For more information about the Provision accelerators page, see Provisioning accelerators.
- Click Manage accelerator instances to go the Manage accelerator instances page and manage your deployed clusters and monitor resource usage.
- Click Patterns and select the appropriate submenu to provision patterns (virtual system, virtual applications, virtual appliance, shared patterns) or manage deployed pattern instances. Provision accelerators page and deploy IBM Cloud Paks or other enterprise software.
- Click Cloud and select the appropriate submenu to administer cloud resources in IBM Cloud Paks.
- Click Reports and select the appropriate submenu to generate reports for Chargeback, IP Usage, License Usage, Product Licenses, and Machines Activity. For more information about reports, see Administering reports.
- Click Hardware and select the appropriate submenu to administer the hardware resources in the system, including compute nodes, management nodes, storage devices, network devices, and external access networks.
- Click Security and access and select the appropriate submenu to manage user, user groups, auditing, system security, and system activity. For more information about each of the topic, see Administering users, user groups, and security and Managing auditing.
- Click System and select the appropriate submenu to configure IBM Installation Manager Repository, Key Manager Adapters, Management Domain Configuration, Organization Profiles, System Maintenance, System Settings, Network, and disaster recovery management.
- Click Problem determination and select the appropriate submenu to troubleshoot workloads and system.
- Click Pattern development and select the appropriate submenu to work with components, templates, tools, and fix packs.
- The bell icon is visible on the IBM Cloud Pak System user interface only when any event or alert occurs and is available for the user.
- Click the help icon on the upper right of the page to do the following tasks:
- Click Help and select the appropriate model to view the IBM Documentation.
- Click IBM support to go to the support site. From the support site, you
can download fixes, open cases, view support handbook, and go through resources.Note: In 2.3.3.5 or later, IBM support is changed to MySupport.
- Click Service request tool to go to the tool to raise a service
request.Note: In 2.3.3.5 or later, this menu item is removed and is no longer available.
- Click About to know the version of IBM Cloud Pak System.
- Click the user icon to do the following tasks:
- View the currently logged in user.
- Click Profile to view and manage the profile details of the logged in user..
- Click Logout to log out of the IBM Cloud Pak System user interface.
- On the upper right of the page under the menu, toggle between Show less or Show more to collapse or expand the Welcome to IBM Cloud Pak System pane.

- Click Provision accelerators to go to the Provision accelerators page and deploy IBM Cloud Paks or other enterprise software. For more information about the Provision accelerators page, see Provisioning accelerators.
- Click Manage accelerator instances to go to the Manage accelerator instances page and manage your deployed clusters and monitor resource usage.
- Click View IBM Documentation to read documentation and learn more about the new features and improvements.

Configure the network address that is used to access management and deployment functions of the system.

Set the search order of the DNS servers.

View the status, metrics, and details of the virtual machine in the cloud.

Apply operations to volumes, including creating a new volume.

Provide new virtual images to the catalog by uploading files or extending pre-built images.

Create a custom-virtual system pattern from items in the inventory.

View the status, metrics, and details of the virtual systems in the cloud.
