Uninstalling the Cloud Pak System Software Agent on a UNIX or Linux computer

If you do not want to monitor the IBM Cloud Pak System Software, you can uninstall the Cloud Pak System Software Agent.

Before you begin

Ensure that the Cloud Pak System Software Agent you want to uninstall is not installed in the IBM Cloud Pak System Software.

About this task

Use the following steps to uninstall the Cloud Pak System Software Agent on a UNIX or Linux computer:

Procedure

  1. From a command prompt, run the following command to change to the appropriate bin directory: 
    cd install_dir/bin
    where install_dir is the installation directory of the Cloud Pak System Software Agent .
  2. Run the following command: 
    uninstall.sh
    A numbered list of product codes, architecture codes, version and release numbers, and product titles is displayed for all installed products.
  3. Type the number for the Cloud Pak System Software Agent and press Enter.

Results

The external Cloud Pak System Software Agent is removed from your system.
