Data feed types

Data feed types are data sets that are uploaded to IBM Sterling Fulfillment Optimizer with Watson.

Data feed types can be uploaded to IBM Sterling Fulfillment Optimizer with Watson by using the file adapter. If IBM Sterling Fulfillment Optimizer with Watson is integrated with IBM® Sterling Order Management System, then some data feed types can be transferred as events from IBM Sterling Order Management.

There are three categories of data that is uploaded to Fulfillment Optimizer.

Configurational data types

Configurational data types are required at the time that the system is set up for the first time. After the system is set up, these data types must only be changed when a configuration changes.

Master data feed types

Master data feed types contain the information that Fulfillment Optimizer needs to function properly, such as the product hierarchy data.
