The Tivoli® Enterprise Monitoring Agent (TEMA) like all monitoring agents, monitors and collects data for user-initiated requests in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) graphical user interface. The monitoring agents are installed on the systems or subsystems you want to monitor. The TEMA address space contains one or more data collection agents that gather the data directly, pass data to monitoring servers (remote or hub), receive instructions from the monitoring servers, and issue commands to the managed systems.
