Starting the Operations Console

Start the IBM® InfoSphere® DataStage® and QualityStage® Operations Console.

1. To start the Operations Console using HTTPS, enter this URL from a supported browser:

   https://domain:port/ibm/iis/ds/console/login.html

   where

   • domain is the name or IP address of your InfoSphere Information Server system
   • port is the port number your InfoSphere Information Server system is configured to use. The default port number for HTTPS is 9443
2. Click Login and supply your login credentials.
   If a message is displayed about a security certificate from the server not being trusted, follow the prompts to accept the certificate. If a tree structure of certificates is displayed, select the root certificate.
3. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer and you get a message that a security certificate from the server is not trusted, accept the certificate:
   1. Click Continue to this website (not recommended).
   2. Click Certification error.
   3. Select View certificates to view the security certificate.
   4. Click the Certification Path tab, and then select the root certificate.
   5. Click the General tab.
   6. Click Install Certificate, and then click Next.
   7. Select Place all certificates in the following store.
   8. Click Browse, and then select Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
   9. Click Next, and then click Finish to import the certificate.
4. If you are using Mozilla Firefox and a message is displayed about a connection from the server not being trusted, follow these steps to confirm the security exception:
   1. Click I understand the risks.
   2. Click Add exception.
   3. Click Get certificate.
   4. Select Permanently store this exception, and click Confirm Security Exception.
