Connecting to PeopleSoft databases
In the PeopleSoft Metadata Browser, click the arrow beside Connect to open the Connection Properties window. You use this window to create an ODBC connection to the PeopleSoft database.
You can change the default connection information that is supplied by the ODBC stage editor in the Connection Properties dialog, which contains the following components:
- DataSource.
- The drop-down list that specifies the ODBC data sources that are currently defined.
- Owner.
- The database owner of the PeopleSoft metadata tables.
- Username.
- The name of the PeopleSoft database user.
- Password
- The password for the specified user.
