Creating Requests
You can create requests in Emptoris® Program Management. When you create a request, it is in the Incomplete status by default until you submit the request. After you submit the request, the request status changes to Submitted.
Before you begin
About this task
The application provides the default forms to create requests.
The forms are loaded based on the selected request type as follows:
- ContractRequestForm for Contract type
- SourcingEventRequestForm for Sourcing Event type
- RequestForm for other request types
A Request Manager or a Request Originator can create requests in the Request Management module.
Procedure
To create a request, complete the following steps:
- Click the Request Management tab, and then click Create.
- In the Create Request page, browse and select the category.
- Select the type of request from the Type drop-down list.
- Select the requested due date within which the request needs to be resolved.
- Enter the description to describe the request.
- Click Save.
- Click Save as Draft if you want to save the request as a draft or click Submit if you want to submit the request.
