Class Definitions
In Emptoris Supplier Lifecycle Management, class definitions are classes that you can define for classifying the suppliers.
It is similar to providing a grade or a rating. If you do not define the classes, you cannot classify the suppliers. Class definitions are defined during the configuration of a type in the Supplier Classification Module.
The different components for defining classes to classify the suppliers
are as follows:
- Class: Title for the class definition.
- Definition: Defines the class for classifying the suppliers.
- Icon: A graphical representation for classifying the suppliers.
- Strategy: The approach that is required for the supplier class definition.
- Action plan: The plan for the supplier class definition.
- Result max: Maximum value for the definition.
- Result min: Minimum value for the definition.
The following table shows an example of setting up a class definition
to classify the suppliers.
