Post Functions

Post Functions is a section in the Strategic importance module. You can configure different post functions from Strategic Importance > Configuration > Templates.

In the Strategic Importance module, you can define different tasks that get triggered automatically based on certain defined conditions. Such tasks are named follow-up tasks, and you can define the follow-up tasks in the Post Functions section.

Defining post functions

The following actions are required to define the post functions:
  • Select the status of the workflow event that generates a trigger.
  • Specify the condition for the action.
  • Define the action that must get triggered if the condition is satisfactory.

Dependency rules for condition

The following options are available to define the dependency rules for trigger:
  • No condition - The trigger is not dependent on any condition and gets activated automatically.
  • At Least one - If multiple conditions are defined, and at least one of them is fulfilled, then the trigger is activated.
  • All - If multiple conditions are defined, all the conditions must be fulfilled for the trigger to be activated.

Actions

You can define the action that must trigger the action automatically. The following table describes the actions that can be defined:

Follow-up assessment A new Supplier Assessment process is initiated.
Follow-up evaluation A new Evaluation process is initiated.
Follow-up classification A new Classification process is initiated.
Follow-up risk assessment A new Risk Assessment is initiated.
Follow-up development A new development action is initiated.

Action options

The Action Options depend on the type of action that is selected.
