Evaluation Types

In Emptoris Supplier Lifecycle Management, an evaluation type is a basic building block in the Performance Evaluation module. An evaluation type is used to define the scope, perspective, and the result class that is set for evaluating a supplier organization.

It provides the basis for evaluating the performance of the supplier. The decisions that are made when you create a type defines how the Performance Evaluations based on this type behaves.

Evaluation types can also be used to restrict authorizations for evaluating the performance by specifying an evaluation method.

You can edit an evaluation type only when there are no performance evaluations initiated based on a particular evaluation type.
