Version Control

You can create multiple versions of an object to manage updates and to keep a historic record of changes in the Emptoris Supplier Lifecycle Management application.

For example, over a span of time the user may want to change an object. A new version of the object can be created that can be used in future. The older version is retained in the application to manage data that was created based on the older version of the object.

A new version is created only if the object is in the Released status.

You can view all the versions of the object in the Previous Version section.

The present version is displayed as the Last Released version and the previous versions are displayed as Expired.
