Hard facts

Business organizations rely on actual data statistics. These values are called hard facts. The hard facts can be obtained from external systems or databases that can be imported in the Emptoris Supplier Lifecycle Management application.

Reusing the data about a supplier that is already available in other systems of the company or externally, makes the business processes easier and the result more objective.

A hard fact type is defined by a code, which is used to identify the type and description.

Hardfacts can be defined as number hardfact or text hardfact.You can define hardfacts with a contract scope for a specific contract when the scope of a hardfact is mandatory single supplier. All modules that allow scoping by contracts can use the hardfacts with contract scope.
