Creating Business Units

Business units are groups within a buyer organization. This group consists of users who are managed by the same buyer application manager. When you create a user, you can subsequently link a business unit to that user. Business Units are referred to as child organizations in the Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform.

You can create and delete the business units in the Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform. For more information, refer to the Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform Administrator Guide.

You can also re-parent the already created business units in the Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform.
