Message Field Type
In Emptoris Sourcing, message field type is applicable to bidding pages. Depending on the information that is entered in the bid, a message is displayed to the suppliers. The message is either a validation, confirmation, or informational message. The type of message to display is set when you configure the field. The message is displayed if the conditional expression entered when the message is configured is fulfilled.

| Use In Formulas | Makes the field available for formulas. |
| Available for List Screens | Makes the field available on the list screens of the respective property such as the RFx page. |
| Include on Search Form | Makes the field available in the Search form. |
| Visibility | Makes the field available for the selected user with specified permissions. |
| Scope | Makes the field available in the selected features of the application. |
| Importance (for question property) | The value indicates the importance of the question. It can be 0 - 10, where 10 is the most important. |
| Show Stopper (for question property) | Makes the field/question a show stopper. |
| Allow Local Values (for supplier profile property) | Makes the field available for buyers to enter local values that can differ from what the supplier enters. |
| Section (for supplier profile property) | Makes the field available in the selected section of the supplier profile. |
