Creating a Usage Report

An administrator can see the usage reports to track the application usage by all users.

Procedure

To create a usage report, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Usage Reports page, click Create.
  2. Type or select information for the following fields listed in the following table:

    Field Description
    Name

    Specify a name to identify the report.

    Start Date and End Date

    Specify the start and end dates of the period for which you want the report.

    Click the calendar icon to select dates.

    Usage Information

    Select one or more options to view the relevant usage information.

    Organization
    Select an organization, which to create a report for, from the drop-down list.
    Note: Based on the organization selected, the corresponding data sets and user roles are displayed in the respective fields.
    Data Set

    Select a data set from the list of data sets for the organization.

    Role
    Select a role from the list roles displayed.
    Note: Based on the role selected, a list of users in that role is displayed in the Available Users list.
    User
    Select one or more users from the list of available users. You can also search for a particular user by entering the name of the user in the Search box, and then clicking Go.
    Note: By default, user accounts that are inactive in the system are not included in the list of available users. If you want to include users whose accounts are inactive in the system, select the Include Inactive Users check box.

    When you select any of the check boxes except Online Feedback, you can continue creating the usage report using the same form.

    However, when you select the Online Feedback check box, a different form is displayed as shown here.

  3. Click Submit to generate the usage report.

    The report so generated is listed on the Usage Reports page with its status as Running.

  4. Click Refresh to see the latest status of the report.

    After the status indicates Completed, the report is ready for you to view.

    Note: You can create a maximum of 51 usage reports.
