Contract Event Dates
Every event must have event and notification dates for notifications to be issued.
Contract dates that are referenced
You can specify an exact calendar date for an event in a contract. You should reference an exact calendar date when no other contract dates are applicable. A calendar date is not automatically updated when changes are made to contract properties, lines, or terms.
You can also reference a date term that is defined in the contract or contract template in which you define the event or a user-defined line field of date data type.
Contract header properties that can be used
You can use the following contract header properties in contract events:
- Effect start and end dates
- Execution date
- Deletion date
- Quote end and start dates
Standard line fields that can be used
You can use the following standard line fields in contract events:
- Actual acceptance date
- Actual delivery date
- Promised delivery date
- Term start and end dates
