Configuration Framework
The configuration framework consists of user exits that create triggers at predetermined contracting events such as pre- or post-contract creation, and change the behavior of the core product that is based on your requirements.
On the Header or Parties tabs, you can add validations to be carried out before you save changes, or actions to be initiated on saving the contract.
Items available for configuration framework
The Emptoris® Contract Management configuration framework provides the following items:
- Code exits at predetermined events in a contract lifecycle
- Scripting environment
The minor customizations in the scripting environment can be written in Java. The major customizations can be converted into an executable code that is executed dynamically by the framework.
